As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Spanish I students will be doing mini-research projects on one of the Spanish-speaking countries (except Spain). Students look up the requested information (capital, population, 3 famous people, 3 sports, 3 foods) and write it in Spanish. The sentences are modeled in the instructions - students only have to plug in their information. They draw the flag and a basic map on the poster.
Instructions were given in class Monday and Tuesday, Sep. 19-20. Posters should be turned in Friday and Monday, Sep. 23 and 26.
