The first file below the green list that was handed out before Spring Break. Students are to fill in any words they already know or can figure out because of cognate status or context clues. Then they look up the words they don't know and check the ones they filled out. Students should indicate which words they need to study: star them, highlight them, use a different color ink, etc. The teacher will check these lists for completion on April 5 (A Day) and April 8 (B Day). The second file is the reference vocabulary list for the unit.
The third file is the verb chart practice for the unit. Using the notes, the Internet, or the 501 Spanish Verbs books in the classroom, students should complete the definitions and conjugations for the verbs in the chart. This will be graded for completion and they will get the page back with mistakes highlighted. They will complete this chart a second time as a quiz, graded for accuracy, in a few days. Don't forget to include the definitions as given in Unit 4. The final file is a set of notes for reference.
The quarter ends on Friday, March 22. Students will have a unit test on Thursday the 21st (A Day) or Friday (B Day). If you are going to be absent due to travel or field trips, PLEASE get in touch with Ms. Sudderth immediately to arrange taking your test before/after school before the end of the week.
If you were absent last Friday or this past Monday, the instructions for the composition are below. You can drop it off or turn it in via email by Friday.
