The performance task for the third quarter is a poster or electronic presentation about the four seasons. Full instructions and a checklist are in the attachments below. Students must turn in their presentations on or before March 9 (A Day)/March 10 (B Day). Students are being given two full days in class to work on this project.
Students were given a full day in class (Feb. 23-24) to prepare and present weather reports from around the world. Students had the option of presenting to Sra. Sudderth or recording themselves in a video and sending/sharing it to her.
This assignment is now overdue and needs to be completed immediately. Full instructions are below.
The next vocabulary quiz will be on Wednesday and Thursday, March 1-2. It will cover the second page of the Unit 3 vocabulary (sports and foods). The full vocabulary is below.

Ms. Sudderth should be available before/after school every day this week except Wednesday for making up the quiz.
Students began to write and practice a short dialogue about weekend plans on Thursday/Friday, February 9-10. On Monday/Tuesday, each pair or trio will present their skit without notes. There will be a short practice time at the beginning of class. Students who were absent on Feb. 9-10 are excused from this assignment.
This writing practice was begun in class February 3 and 6 and is due February 7-8 at the beginning of class. Use the vocabulary on page 3 of the unit list and on page 1 to complete your sentences. Use a variety of verbs.
The first quiz of the third quarter covers the front page of the Unit 3 vocabulary. There is a practice quiz below that is similar in format as well as the list for any student who has lost their copy.
This quiz will be on Tuesday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 8.
